Jessica Rose Moor celebrates two years all clear after cervical cancer battle

Jessica Rose Moor is celebrating two years free from cancer following a tough battle with cervical cancer.

The star, who was previously married to Nick Knowles, revealed the news on Instagram with a bikini snap, telling fans, “I have officially hit 2 years all clear today. Latest MRI results are back. Clear. 2 years. 2 bloody years. Happy tears. Thanking my lucky, lucky stars.”

Jessica, who has a child with her ex-husband, revealed to Woman magazine that Nick was the one who pushed her to see a doctor when the symptoms first presented themselves.

She told the magazine, "I revealed my symptoms, he seemed anxious.

"''You should go to the doctor,' he said. At first I batted away his concern. Surely he was just being overprotective.

"After a few weeks, he was insistent I went. Perhaps it was best to get checked out - just in case."

After discovering she had cervical cancer, Jessica underwent an operation and was given the all-clear.

But understandably, she still lives in fear that it could return after a thoughtless acquaintance told her a terrifying story.

The make-up artist told The Mirror, "Someone stupidly told me they knew somebody who was diagnosed with cervical cancer at 23.

"She was given the all-clear. Then it came back and she died. I can’t get it out of my head.

"I have this really morbid feeling. I might have been given the all-clear but it’s still at the back of my mind it could come back."

Jessica was married to the DIY SOS presenter for four years before splitting in 2016 and the pair underwent a custody battle for their three-year-old son Eddie.

But fortunately they're on good terms, with Nick admitting, "It took me a while to figure stuff out. I'm really proud of the fact that Jess and I are really good.

"She's a great mother. Coming out of a marriage is hard, so I just want to make sure it stays respectful."
