TOWIE viewers saw Jessica Wright reduced to tears last year during her painful break-up with boyfriend of two years Ricky Rayment, who admitted he’d messaged another girl.
She then watched him move on with Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson – who he proposed to in June after six months together.
But Jessica, 29, confides to Closer that after a few cheeky kisses with Sunderland footballer Connor Wickham, 22, and TOWIE newbie Dan Edgar, 25, she’s embracing the single life. And she adds that her sister in law Michelle Keegan – who wed Jess’ brother Mark in May – has been her ‘wing woman’ on nights out.
She says: “I tell every single girl: ‘Welcome to the wonderful life’ because I’m so happy. I feel amazing. I’ve never felt so secure in my age – when I was 25 I was a wreck. For the past six months I’ve been in such a good place, I know who I am again. I’ve never felt so liberated.”
She adds: “I love Michelle like she’s my sister – she is a good wing woman. She’s helping me find a man and we have loads of fun.”
