Jeremy McConnell sparks rumours he’s had emergency ‘septum surgery’

Jeremy McConnell has made no secret of his battle with drugs.

The star regularly displays his wild partying on Snapchat and recently went to jail for breaking his sentencing terms after being found guilty of assaulting ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis last year.

But mere hours after revealing the extent of his partying, the former CBB star was reportedly forced to go to hospital to have an emergency surgery on his septum.

The star, who is dad to one-year-old Caben-Albi, has been pictured outside a Polish hospital with bandages covering his nose.

He also shared a scary snap of his face from hospital on Snapchat, along with the caption, "When your mate gets lippy over who paid for the packet of Monster Munch in Centra."

While the post was instantly deleted, a friend explained the reasons behind the bandages.

'It was due to years of abuse of alcohol and other substances," they said. "It's to repair his septum. He really is the male version of Danniella Westbrook."

The shocking news comes after he told The Sun just how bad his drug abuse had become, admitting, “There were times when I would get £200, shove it up my nose and do double barrelled lines. We used to call them the M50 after the motorway in Dublin."

But since leaving prison, he claimed he hasn't touched drugs.

“I’d love to stop drinking one day too but right now, I’m doing the best I can and I do still have a drink when I see my friends," he said.

“I could relapse and take drugs again today but I have to tell myself what I want in my future. I want my son."

It's also been claimed that Jeremy has breached his restraining order against ex-girlfriend Steph by contacting her using fake social media accounts - a claim which he strongly denies.

“These allegations are ridiculous and categorically untrue," he said.

"After I was released from prison I have been working hard to move on with my life and I have certainly not sought to contact her in anyway whatsoever.”
