Jeremy McConnell fled to Ireland after an allegedly violent row with on-off girlfriend Stephanie Davis and it seems he's seeking solace with Love Island's Shannen Reilly McGrath.
The blonde beauty, who was evicted from the Love Island villa last week, spoke to OK! Online about how she's been supporting the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate after what has been an explosive few days.
Shannen revealed she had been out for dinner with Jeremy, 27, in Dublin. She said: "We went for food with a few friends to see how he is.'
She also admitted that she and Jeremy had known each other 'for years', adding that he was 'still very upset, absolutely heartbroken,' after the latest turn of events in his relationship with Stephanie.
Jeremy confirmed to the Mail Online earlier this week that things were over for good between the pair after the alleged incident.
He said: 'There is no going back from this and we are finished
'We are just not good for each other. The relationship is toxic and we can't be together anymore. I don't care what happens there will be no getting back together'
He added: 'Steph and I can never be a couple, but I will always be there for my son. I adore him and want to do all I can for him.'
