After the hit series first hitting our screens in 1992, Jennifer Saunders says turning Absolutely Fabulous into a movie has been a complete hoot!
Jennifer, who will reprise her role of "Edina" alongside Joanna Lumley as the legendary "Patsy Stone", told Closer at the Hennessy Gold Cup: "I'm currently writing the movie and it's been so much fun - it will be filled with Bolly drinking and the usual debauchery. Hopefully the film will be out next year. It will knock your socks off"
Meanwhile Jilly Cooper told Closer that she's busy writing the next instalment of her Rutshire Chronicles.
She laughed: "My favourite lothario Rupert Campbell Black will be coming back with a bang - he's approaching 60 now so he's really angry about getting older and being called a grandfather. He'll be saucier than ever though."
Hollywood actress ClaireForlani and her husband Dougray Scott also attended the event along with Carey Mulligan.
