Jennifer Metcalfe reveals wedding plans with boyfriend Greg Lake

Jennifer Metcalfe also opened up about the difficulties she faced giving birth

Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe and her partner Greg Lake (who you may recognise from series one of Geordie Shore) have been together for a whopping four years.

That's VERY long for a showbiz couple.

The soap star recently opened up about getting married and hinted that wedding bells could soon be on the table.

After the Fabulous magazine asked whether the happy couple have discussed tying the knot, she said: "Oh, yeah!

"We’ll probably do it like a party and be like: 'Let’s get married next month and we’ll text our friends.'"

Although she added: "There will be no ring or anything."

The Hollyoaks star and her reality star boyfriend only welcomed their beautiful baby boy Daye into the world in June and now the actress has opened up about the moment she gave birth.

The yummy mummy, who has previously revealed her son nearly died because of complications with the umbilical cord, explained how labour empowered her.

Opening up about how things weren't smooth sailing, Jennifer said: "Daye’s heartbeat dripped before I had to push him out and the cord was in a knot, but the midwives made me feel like superwoman.

"I’d do 10 labours over pregnancy again."

Even though welcoming her little one into the world wasn't easy she continued to tell Fabulous magazine that it was "such a good experience."

Jennifer left Hollyoaks earlier this year for maternity leave but admitted she'll be heading back to the show after a year. On Loose Women, she said: "I’m taking a year off.

"I’ve been at Hollyoaks for eleven amazing years."

Her co-star Chelsea Healey who also left the show to welcome her first child has revealed when she's returning full time and it's VERY soon.
