J-Lo said that unlike her, sister Lynda - an Emmy award-winning journalist - is a single mum who has no help juggling her work and parenting duties.

Speaking of her sibling, who had daughter Lucie Wren Lopez-Goldfried in 2008 with Adam Goldfried, she said: 'I just love and respect her so much.

‘She’s a single mom but not like I’m a single mom. I have a lot of help – she doesn’t. I always ask, ‘Do you need anything?’ And she’s like, ‘I’m good’. But I know she’s exhausted.'

The 'Jenny From The Block' singer had her own taste of being a single parent when she split with Marc Anthony - the father of her twins Max and Emme – in 2011.

Jennifer, who has been dating her back up dancer Casper Smart since October the same year, has previously said her family set-up is ‘non-traditional.’

J-Lo was joined by sister Lynda, her neice Lucie, and her own children Max and Emme when she got a star on the Hollywood walk of fame recently

‘I am a nontraditional family,’ she told a magazine earlier this year.

‘Me being a single mom, their dad doesn’t live at home with them. They have three stepbrothers from two other mothers … that’s not traditional.’

Jennifer's boyfriend Casper Smart also joined the family at the event

In actuality, her 5-year-old twins, Max and Emme, have one stepsister, Ariana, their father’s daughter with ex-girlfriend Debbie, and two stepbrothers, Cristian and Ryan, from Anthony’s ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

‘Do I want my children to feel weird about that? No, I don’t,’ Lopez said.
