Fans of Jennifer Aniston were delighted to hear that the actress had finally found her fairytale with new husband Justin Theroux.

After a long engagement, the couple reportedly tied the knot in front of 70 of their closest friends and family.

But missing from the ceremony was Jen’s mum, Nancy Dow.

The pair famously fell out when Nancy released a book revealing details about Jennifer’s upbringing and private life entitled From Mother and Daughter to Friends.

Jen had previously described her mother as ‘critical’ of her whilst she was growing up.

She said: "She was critical. She was very critical of me. Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn't. I never was. I honestly still don't think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine.

"She was also very unforgiving. She would hold grudges that I just found so petty."

The pair didn’t speak for nine years but allegedly reconciled just last year.

Despite making up, it seems that Jen wasn’t quite ready to include her 79-year-old mother on her big day.
