The 46-year-old and longterm boyfriend Justin, 44, married in secret at their home in Bel Air – and told guests they were attending his birthday party!
During an appearance on Good Morning America to promote new movie She’s Funny That Way, former Friends star Jennifer was asked if becoming Mrs Theroux had made her ‘deliriously happy’.
She replied: “Yeah, of course!” Jen, who is famously private about her love-life, also was also asked how she managed to keep it a secret from everyone, including the guests.
Celebrities including Ellen Degeneres, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and Emily Blunt attended the nuptials.
She said simply: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Jen and Justin have been together since 2011, and became engaged on his birthday in 2012.
This is Jen’s second marriage, after she and Brad Pitt tied the knot in 2000. They divorced in 2005, resulting in speculation that he was unfaithful with his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie, who he later married.
But Jennifer told the Hollywood Reporter in January: “Nobody did anything wrong… It was just like, sometimes things [happen].”
