When Jade Goody lost her battle with cervical cancer in May 2009, her ex partner Jeff Brazier was left devastated - and a single parent to grieving sons Bobby Jack and Freddy.
But the 35-year-old has made every effort to ensure that his sons feel able to talk about Jade - and, on the sixth anniversary of her death, helped them to pay tribute to their beloved mum.
Taking to Twitter, he posted a photograph of his boys, surrounded by friends, as they lit special candles in memory of the Big Brother star.
He captioned it: “#100Candles tonight for the boys & those our friends remembered with us. Beautiful occasion, warm smiles all round x”
The qualified Life Coach and devoted father later shared a photograph of a burning candle, writing simply: “Kids & adults sharing their grief together, making it acceptable to talk & remember, expressing positively their love .”
Jeff recently told OK! Magazine that he has been helping his son's teachers deal with the topic of Jade Goody's death.
Explaining that youngest son Freddie is still finding it hard to deal with his mum’s death, the dad-of-two said: "Freddie can be quite a handful but he's made a huge progress with himself recently. I spoke to the teacher and she let me sit down with her and coach her. It was strange.
"It led to her basically instigating a conversation about his mum. She'd never done that because she always wanted to avoid it.
"But by doing so, Freddie was confident enough to stand up in class and talk about the afterlife telling everyone how he sees his mum as a butterfly."
Meanwhile Jack Tweed, whom married Jade shortly before her death, also took to Twitter to post a special tribute to his late wife.
He wrote simply: “6 years gone - miss you more each day.”
