Peaches passed away suddenly at her home in Kent and the cause of her death is not yet known, though it is reportedly not thought to be drug related and police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Peaches leaves behind 23-month-old son Astala and 11-month-old Phaedra and her husband of 2 years, musician Tom Cohen.
Following the death of reality star Jade Goody in 2009, Jeff became the sole guardian of the former couple’s young sons.
He appeared on This Morning to discuss how to help children cope with losing a parent.
He said: ‘Your children need reassurance that you, as a sole surviving parent, are not going anywhere… my kids love that.’
Police have released an update on Peaches’ shocking and sudden death, revealing that a post-mortem will be carried out within the next couple of days.
A statement read: ‘The deceased has been transferred to Darent Valley Hospital Dartford and arrangements are in hand for the post-mortem to be carried out tomorrow at the hospital.’
‘The Pathologist is confirmed as Dr Peter Graham Jerreat, Consultant Home Office Forensic Pathologist.’
‘After the results of the post mortem have been received, the Coroner will officially open an investigation and decide whether an inquest is necessary.’
