The pair met during this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, and got together quickly after the show ended. But Jasmine, 31, soon called time on their relationship.
Speaking to a UK newspaper, actress Jasmine said: “Being in a relationship with him was emotionally draining. I couldn’t get a word in edgeways as he talked about how his career was on the rise.”
Bizarrely, Jasmine recalled how Lee would compare his band Blue to massive success story One Direction and revealed that he even believes he is on Harry Styles’ level.
“Lee genuinely thinks Blue are No1 in the charts, are as big as One Direction and he has the appeal of Harry Styles,” she said.
Thinking back to their romantic holiday to Thailand shorty after their time on Big Brother, Jasmine said it was amazing – until Lee started to talk about himself and his career again.
“It was honestly one of the best holidays of my life, seeing all of these amazing places,” she said. “Lee spent the whole holiday telling me how much he loved me and how he saw us having a big future together.
“He was caring and nice. He talked about marriage and building a life in the UK. He also talked about his career and how many projects he was working on.”
Jasmine claims that Lee refuses to believe Blue is not as big as they once were, and insists he needs help, saying: “His friends know he is messed up. Duncan and I FaceTime and he is really worried about Lee.
“His other band mates are too. The real Lee Ryan is lost somewhere. He needs a year in rehab to work through his issues. Lee is a damaged soul, with no money or career, who needs and craves stability but goes about it the wrong way.”
