Jamie Redknapp is apparently "gutted" by how the end of his marriage to Louise has been played out, and is reportedly not happy about how she has been discussing it in the press.
Jamie, 44, was seen without his wedding ring almost straight away after their split was announced in July, but Louise, 42, has continued to wear hers.
And a source close to the former footballer has revealed that he has chosen not to watch Louise in her performance as Sally Bowles in Cabaret for fears it would be too "awkward".

The source told The Sun that it was "very telling" that Jamie had decided not to watch Louise in her first proper stage performance since Strictly revived her career.
Louise recently admitted that she felt a new lease of life after performing on Strictly, as she had spent the last 12 years relatively out of the spotlight and "running around after everyone else," she told Stella Magazine.
And whilst Louise added that she knew Jamie was "trying to understand that I do need to do this," his refusal to watch her performance in Cabaret seems to contradict this.
The source added to The Sun: "It's her big moment but he feels it would be too awkward. He's gutted about what's happened.
"It's unfair to suggest he didn't allow her to pursue her dreams. He was totally supportive of her decision to do Strictly.
"Jamie and their friends don't understand why she had to walk out on the marriage to pursue her own career."
This comes after Lorraine Kelly infuriated fans on her show after she was accused of "poking her nose in" to their relationship.
She told showbiz journalist Dan Wootton that she was baffled by the situation in a segment on her show.
She said: "I hear what she's saying, but surely it's not one or the other. You can have a career and a family. It's really difficult to balance, we know that, but she could have had someone in to help, and he could have done a bit more – she could have had the best of both worlds.
"I just don't understand why she left him. Why she couldn't go on tour and say, 'Look, I've supported you for years but I'm gonna go do Strictly and do this tour and I need you to back me up. But the tour will be finished soon'.
"There must be more to it."
Closer Online readers were NOT happy, and took to Facebook to vent their frustrations at Lorraine's comments.
Whilst some agreed with her, one wrote: "So what people are saying is she should have stayed in an unhappy marriage just because other women would die to be in her position, that she's selfish for leaving him! Huh, whatever I've got more respect for her to live her happy life rather than stay in a stale marriage because of money!"
Another added: "Who are we to judge why Louise has left Jamie. No body knows what goes on behind closed doors," whilst another wrote: "Here's an idea - keep your opinion out of someone else's relationship."
