Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools have welcomed their fifth child together.
The celebrity chef and his partner, who are already parents to daughters Poppy, 14, Daisy, 13, and Petal, seven, and son Buddy, five, announced the happy news early this morning, after revealing they were expecting earlier this year.
Cook Jamie shared a picture of his son on Instagram and revealed he weighed in at 8lbs.
He wrote: "And then this just happened guys!! IT’S A BABY BOY!! Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy.
"He arrived safely, mum @joolsoliver was really, really amazing, unbelievably, composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness. Very, very emotional."
He added: "8lbs (that’s 16 packs of butter for you bakers out there). Anyway, we’re all hitting the hay, it’s been a long day, big love… bless, a little baby boy. Woop hoop!!!!
"And love to all you mums out there, how amazing you are it blows my mind…. Big love, Jamie. P.S. no baby names yet."
Sharing a picture of herself breastfeeding her new baby from her hospital bed, mother Jools also wrote on Instagram: "Little baby boy Oliver has arrived.
"We are so very happy, blessed grateful and totally in love all over again and so very proud of our two eldest daughters who cut the cord. Jamie was my hero (no name yet)!!! XXXX."
Although they have not yet announced the name of the new addition to their family, Jamie previously hinted at a possible moniker, saying he wanted it to be "floral" or "seasonal".
He said: "Jools is leading the way, very floral, very seasonal, lots of actions of the earth.
"She told me I’m not allowed to talk about it and I don’t want to get in trouble because I’m doing so well at home."
Congratulations!
