Jamie Laing has taken to Instagram to show off the results of a day’s hard work as he starts training for Strictly Come Dancing.

The Made in Chelsea star, who is the first reality star to take part, filmed himself peeling off a plaster on his foot to reveal an angry looking blister, and told fans, “If you’re squeamish, don’t look”.

Could be worse, but we appreciate the warning.

Later on Jamie took to his grid to share a picture of himself dressed in a tracksuit and said, “So I woke up this morning and decided to dress a little like Channing Tatum from ‘Step Up’ thinking it would help with my dancing...

“All it did was make me look like a man child in clothes too big for him”.

Why Strictly could be 'AXED' if coronavirus rules change

Another said, “Someone come and collect your dad 😂. You are still cute Jamie 😘” with one more adding, “After 5 mins of a jive u will be sweating buckets in that get up!”

It’s not the first injury Jamie has sustained on the dance floor, last year he was forced to pull out of the competition due to another one (he was replaced by Kelvin Fletcher who won the show).

Speaking of his 2020 return, Jamie told Closer, “I’m back for a second year and super excited to do it! It’s going to be amazing fun. With everything going on this year, having Strictly back on is going to be one of the most amazing things – not only for people watching but for the cast and crew.”
