In 2012, Jake received fpur yeses from the judges in his audition, sailed through bootcamp, but didn't make it further than judges' houses as he failed to impress boys' category mentor - Nicole Scherzinger, and guest judge Ne-Yo.
In 2014, Jake re-auditioned for the show with a highly emotional performance of Say Something'that clearly impressed the judges. This time around, Jake made it all the way through to the live shows with Mel B as his mentor, but was unfortunately eliminated in week three.
