Jade Goody’s widow Jack Tweed has been found guilty of drunkenly assaulting three students in a row over taxi.
The 27-year-old was reportedly on a night out in Chelmsford, Essex, when the incident occurred.
Tweed allegedly hit two man- Christopher Davis and Max Oliver- and grabbed a woman- Charlotte Mansfield- by the wrists.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star says he was taunted by the students, claiming that one asked him: ‘What’s it like f***ing a boiled egg’, referring to Jade Goody’s battle with cancer.
According to the Mail Online, 19-year-old Charlotte Mansfield fired back: “ I never heard anything of that type at all. I don't believe that for a minute. I know that neither Max or Chris or myself would say anything like that."
Chair of the bench Paul Jee said during sentencing: "We have heard from the three witnesses behind you and we find their evidence credible.
"As a result we do not believe the 'boiled egg' comment was ever made. We wonder why, if it had been made, you didn't raise it as a defence when interviewed by police.
"Furthermore, we believe they didn't know who you were and, considering their age, there is no reason to believe they would."
Mr Davis told Chelmsford Magistrates Court that he hit Tweed in ‘self defence’.
He said: "I was extremely scared and worried for Charlotte’s safety. Me and Mr Tweed approached each other and I struck him three times.
"I just wanted him to leave my friends alone. If felt like there was no stopping him."
When Tweed was found guilty, Mr Oliver reportedly said: "I can't describe how disgusting it is that he tried to use Jade's illness to try to get off this.”
"I have had family members die of cancer and I would never make a comment about any type of cancer.
He allegedly added: “I’m relieved and happy he's been found guilty and the truth has come out."
Tweed was sentenced to 150 hours community service and ordered to pay £100 compensation to each victim.
