Jacqueline Jossa reveals how her pregnancy will affect her character on EastEnders

The 22-year-old and TOWIE star Dan, 23, are expecting their first child together in the New Year, and the question on every EastEnders fan’s lips is: what will happen to Lauren Branning?

Dan and Jac both looked as gorgeous as ever as they attended Bootea’s Shake Party, and she revealed that she will definitely be returning to Albert Square after the birth.

She told the Daily Mail: “I am going to have to leave at some point to give birth, but I don’t really know what will happen to my storyline. They’re keeping a secret from even me because it’s that tight.

“I don’t have a clue either but I know I will be coming back. I read somewhere that I’m taking a year out which isn’t true. I definitely want to go back.”

Jacqueline revealed she’s been getting parenting advice from fellow EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy and model Katie Price.

She said: “I met Katie Price for the first time tonight and she was lovely and also giving me advice.”

The star also insisted it’s no big deal that she’s going to be a young mum. She added: “I’m 22, I’m not 17 and even so, some 17 year olds are the most amazing mums.

“I don’t think you can put an age on it I think it’s all about being a mum and learning. No one knows how to be a mum until you are one.”
