She recently teased she could be joining her husband, Dan Osborne, for TOWIE’s 10-year reunion special, after revealing producers had asked her to appear alongside Dan – who was axed from the reality series in 2015 following a leaked audio recording of him appearing to threaten his ex Megan Tomlin, with whom he shares six-year-old son Teddy.
In an Instagram Q&A with show veteran Bobby Norris earlier this month, Jacqueline Jossa, 27, said, “I could be on TOWIE soon. Me and Dan are gonna make a comeback.”
And while she insisted nothing has yet been confirmed, the Jungle Queen – who shares Ella, five, and one-year-old Mia with former reality star Dan, 28 – added, “They [producers] did ask us a while ago, but I was on [EastEnders](http://EastEnders spoilers: Bobby Beale collapses) so I couldn’t. But I was like, ‘Oh my God, imagine me on TOWIE!’”
Jacqueline’s revelation comes five years after Dan was fired from the ITVBe show. But pals say the actress – who’s weathered numerous storms throughout her seven-year relationship with Dan, including multiple claims of infidelity – is convinced a joint appearance on the show, which is yet to be filmed, will repair his reputation and prove their marriage is firmly back on track.
And insiders say it’s just part of her plan for them to become a celeb power couple by pursuing joint projects and deals together to forge a new brand.
Earlier this year, Closer reported how the former soap star was in talks to replace Michelle Keegan in BBC military drama Our Girl – filmed in Malaysia and South Africa – after Michelle, 32, quit to “spend more time at home”. with husband Mark Wright, 33.
However, insiders say the lockdown has prompted a change of heart. A source says, “Jac’s relished being at home with Dan and the girls, and it’s made her realise how much she’d hate to be separated from them for long chunks of time, so she’s decided to focus on projects where she can be with Dan as much as possible.
“She says that although lockdown has been an anxious time for obvious reasons, it’s actually helped her and Dan to reconnect. It’s allowed them more time to be more romantic and silly with each other, without the grind of normal life, and rekindling their relationship has given her time to reflect on their next steps together.
“Jac loves the idea of doing the TOWIE reunion and bonding with Dan while working together. They’ve also been involved in initial talks about doing their own spin-off reality show together, as well as joint hosting PAs and creating their own fitness and healthy eating platform.
“They met with a production company last month, and Jac’s hoping to follow in the footsteps of other celeb couples like Rochelle and Marvin Humes, who’ve created big showbiz brands for themselves.”
Following her explosive 2017 exit from EastEnders, Jacqueline revealed she’d “not stopped crying” after admitting she was “pushed out” of the soap following her seven-year stint.
Despite making several hints of a possible return – telling former co-stars, “Maybe I’ll see you again one day” in an Instagram tribute marking the soap’s 35th anniversary last month – the actress reportedly turned down an offer to reprise her role as Albert Square’s troublesome Lauren Branning, shortly before her triumphant stint on I’m A Celeb! in November.
And it was a move that clearly paid off. Her popularity and career soared after being crowned Jungle Queen, helping her land a string of lucrative endorsement deals, including a fashion collaboration with In The Style, which became the fastest-selling range in the brand’s six-year history.
In contrast, it was recently reported how Dan had less than £1,000 to his name, as his firm Storms Entertainment was £7,469 in debt. On top of that, another company he owned was dissolved in 2017 after racking up huge debts with HMRC.
And pals say Jac’s convinced their new career path will also help alleviate tensions caused by the financial imbalance in their relationship.
The source says, “Jac knows Dan can feel a little awkward over her success. While he’s constantly telling her how proud he is of her, she can sense the disparity gets to him, so she’s hoping that landing joint deals will help boost his confidence and help change the relationship dynamic for the better.”

Jac’s stint in the jungle was overshadowed by more scandal when Dan’s former CBB co-stars, Natalie Nunn and Chloe Ayling, claimed they had a threesomewith the married star on a night out in September 2018 – something he denies.
And Jac reportedly almost quit the show after speaking to her campmate, Myles Stephenson, about Dan’s alleged involvement with his ex – Love Island star Gabby.
And while Jac’s been warned about Dan’s reputation having a negative effect on her career, pals say she’s convinced her plan for them to forge a new career together will be the making of her husband, who made a public apology to her in December and called himself “the luckiest man alive”.
The source adds, “Jac’s hellbent on showing the public a different side to Dan – the big softie and doting dad he is behind closed doors. She knows that’s not going to be easy, but she hopes fans will support her and remember everyone’s capable of changing and should be allowed a second chance.”
