She treated her daughters to a sun-soaked getaway last week, and Jacqueline Jossa wasted little time in showing off her gorgeous figure in a range of stunning bikinis.
The former EastEnders star-turned-fashion entrepreneur, 30, wrote on social media, “Life’s too short girls… wear that bikini”. And while her female fans rushed to congratulate her for championing “girl power” as she rocked a series of swimsuits on her solo holiday, Jacqueline was inundated with messages from men, who called her “absolutely stunning and sexy” and “hot”.
One follower described her as the “ultimate dream girl”, while another added, “Wow, you are so beautiful”.
Now a source reveals how the flattering comments have boosted Jacqueline’s confidence, but that husband Dan Osborne – who hit back with his own topless shots on social media – isn’t as thrilled about his gorgeous wife being ogled by admirers.
An insider says, “Jac has been working out a lot recently and she’s been really enjoying how it’s made her feel – boosting her confidence and self-esteem. Her fans are really rooting for her and she loves getting that support. It’s also giving Dan a taste of his own medicine, as he’s always stripping off on social media, but he’s been feeling quite jealous.
“Obviously he’s not a big fan of guys ‘liking’ her pics and trying to get in touch with her – but he knows the same can be said for all of his ‘thirsty’ content too, so it’s a case of fair’s fair.”
It’s been a rocky few months for the couple after Jacqueline’s 30th birthday celebrations at their Essex home in November descended into chaos when Dan, 31, was reportedly taken away in handcuffs after being involved in a brawl in the garden. At the time, it was reported he’d been arrested for grievous bodily harm, but in January it was revealed the case had been dropped.
A source told Closer at the time, “Some of Jac’s friends are concerned – she doesn’t want to talk about the incident at her birthday, but they know she was devastated by what happened. Jac’s putting on a brave face and acting like it’s no big deal, but some of her friends worry that she can’t take much more scandal surrounding her and Dan.”
It was clear that the bombshell hit close to home for Jacqueline. The couple appeared to have been going from strength to strength following their “break” in 2020, which saw Jacqueline move out of the family home they share with Ella, eight, and Mia, four.
At the time, she revealed she’d moved out while undergoing therapy, admitting, “I felt like there was a lot of pressure on me. I couldn’t be in the same house as Dan.”
But in April last year, she revealed they’d planned to renew their vows after starting what felt like “a new relationship”, with Closer reporting that Dan’s later arrest had thrown those romantic plans off track.
Now an insider says Dan’s actions also prompted Jacqueline, who has previously faced cruel trolling over staying with him through his cheating, into prioritising her own independence and taking control of her own life.
The source adds, “Things really shifted for Jac last year after Dan was involved in the brawl. Suddenly she felt things slowly going out of control so since then she’s really been putting herself first. She’s been prioritising working out, eating healthily and making time for self-care to make sure that she can be the best mum she can possibly be to her kids.
“It’s all paid off because she’s been looking and feeling great lately and has loved showing off her body again in her latest swimwear – it’s been giving her a confidence boost that she didn’t know she needed.”
In 2019, Jacqueline addressed her changing body shape, telling fans, “I have two amazing kids and I’m curvy. I didn’t used to love it. It was a big change being 21 and a slim size 8 to all of a sudden a mother and different body all together.”
Last year, she also dropped half a stone to a size 12 after working out with Dan and going on a “health reboot”, and the source says that after the scandal of the last few months, Jacqueline’s friends are glad she’s putting herself first.
