**Jacqueline, 23, is still on maternity leave from BBC soap EastEnders – in which she plays Lauren Branning – but it’s her relationship with the former TOWIE star which gets her the most attention these days. **
Addressing the tough 12 months Dan, 24, has had, Jacqueline told Fabulous magazine: “I’m stronger than people give me credit for. Daniel has made mistakes and people are never going to let that go… Now it’s game over and everything he does is wrong.
“There are people who have always had it in for us, a million per cent. Definitely, and I know who they are… We’ve become an easy target.”
Jacqueline and Dan welcomed daughter Ella in February last year, and he is also dad to son Teddy from a past relationship.
Because of everything Dan went through following his split from Teddy’s mum, Jacqueline was subjected to cruel online taunts – forcing her to take a break from social media.
But she’s back, and she’s ready to return to our screens. Addressing her return to EastEnders, Jacqueline said: “I’ve been itching to get back, and I get jealous when I see it.
“I love a big, angry storyline. I just want more pain. It’s boring when they’re happy. EastEnders is best as misery, sadness and anger, and I just miss screaming, crying – they’re the scenes I am best at.”
