They’ve weathered multiple storms during their seven-year relationship. But despite appearing to put the past behind them after Dan Osborne admitted taking “full responsibility” for his “mistakes” during their marriage, it appears more explosive drama could be set to unfold for him and wife Jacqueline Jossa.
After a tough lockdown, which saw Jacqueline, 27, temporarily move out of the family home with daughters Ella, five, and Mia, two, who she shares with Dan – the actress has now expressed her excitement about them potentially doing a reality show together.
In a recent interview, she hinted at plans to film their own show, saying, “A camera following me around would be quite fun” – just months after Dan told a fan he’d “possibly” be up for sharing his private life on screen.
But Kieran Hayler, who has appeared on multiple reality TV shows with ex-wife Jordan, has issued a stark warning to the pair. He says Jacqueline and Dan would have a steep learning curve ahead – with a gruelling filming schedule, plenty of bombshell moments and, of course, drama.
Kieran, 33, tells Closer, “People think it’s easy, but you’re often filming from 7am until midnight. It’s tiring, and you’ve got to be on your game. Kids aren’t easy to film with, either, they don’t want to do it a lot of the time. It becomes very stressful.”
Jac and Dan – and his son Teddy, six, from a previous relationship – have faced plenty of scandal over the years.
At the start of their romance, Dan’s ex and Teddy’s mum, Megan Tomlin, claimed the pair were still sleeping together. He was later accused of cheating on former EastEnders actress Jac with Love Island star Gabby Allen, who denied the allegations, kissing another Love Islander, Alexandra Cane, and having a threesome with two of his Celebrity Big Brother housemates – claims he previously denied.
But Kieran predicts more bombshells to come.

He says, “Everyday life doesn’t sell, and viewers love gossip and drama. Producers are constantly trying to gear you up for little arguments or to push each other’s buttons.
“They’ll put things in your head or make you say certain things to cause a reaction. And once the cameras stop, you’re still reeling from the things you’ve filmed – that gives them even more content because they’ll come back the next day to find out how you’re feeling.”
Kieran – who split from Jordan in 2018 and shares two children, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with the former glamour model – remembers one particular situation that he claims was engineered by producers and caused issues for the pair.
On her show My Crazy Life, Jordan – real name Katie Price – was seen meeting up with DJ Tom Zanetti, without Kieran’s knowledge. Kieran later claimed Jordan had sent flirty text messages to the DJ.
He explains, “They [the producers] told me about it after it had happened. They were trying to cause an argument about Kate going behind my back.
“You either hold your cool or react, it’s so hard. You’re going to get jealous at some point. It’s the jealousy and the lies that will tear Jac and Dan apart.
“I know with [Jordan’s ex-husband] Peter [Andre], she blamed the reality show for ruining their relationship, but I don’t think it had anything to do with why me and her split. I know reality shows get blamed for celebrity break-ups, though. And I wouldn’t put my relationship on TV like that again.”
He adds, “I felt like some storylines were put there to mix things up. They’ll say they’re not trying to cause problems, but it’s what they want – the reality of you arguing. You end up feeling like puppets.”
Kieran admits he felt an added pressure to restore his reputation on the show after admitting to cheating on Jordan with two of her friends in 2014.
There’s no doubt Dan who has endured cheating rumours and who was fired from TOWIE in 2015 after leaked recordings heard him allegedly threatening to stab his ex Megan, will be looking to do the same.

But Kieran says the way in which he’ll be portrayed will be at the hands of producers.
He explains, “You’d hope, because the TV show is about you, that you’d be portrayed in a good light.
“But that didn’t happen with me because the show wasn’t about me. They can film for 24 hours and make you look exactly how they want you to look in 15 minutes.”
Kieran adds that “it gives people a reason to troll you”.
“You’re putting your life out there,” he says. “I remember opening my inbox to thousands of messages. It all depends on how they’ve made you look.”
The dad-of-two doesn’t regret his decision to star on screen – he says it was a “good platform and pushed him in a more positive direction”. But he does wish things had been done differently.
And he advises Jacqueline and Dan to “just have fun with it” and to work as a team.
He says, “You’ve got to do it together. There’s no point doing things individually – you’ll end up arguing and that will be it. One mistake me and Kate made is that we did separate things. If we had made it all about us as a family, maybe things would have been different.”
