She found herself at the centre of yet another media storm two weeks ago after being “ambushed” on Loose Women over her fiancé Dan Osborne’s controversial past.

Their romance has come under scrutiny, including claims he was verbally abusive to his ex Megan Tomlin, with whom he has two-year-old son Teddy.

But speaking exclusively to Closer this week, Jacqueline reveals that she’s had enough of constantly justifying her relationship with Dan – who she calls “Daniel.”

Actress Jacqueline – who is mum to 13-month-old daughter, Ella - says:

“I don’t care about negativity with me and Daniel, I’m over it. I’m not defending him any more; I don’t care – it all happened a long time ago.

"Daniel gets on with Teddy’s mum, and that’s all that matters now – the past is irrelevant.

"There are, of course, times where I’ll wobble a bit and things are upsetting, but I go home and see Ella and it puts everything into perspective. She keeps me strong.”
