Despite the tragic news the pair, who are parents to 16-month-old daughter Pearl, are doing their best to stay positive.

'It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments,' Lisa wrote. 'We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.'

Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes

Before heading to bed that day Lisa tweeted: 'Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love & support. It means the world.'

Jack and Lisa, both 27, married in October and announced that they were expecting their second child in her ‘raddest mom’ blog just one month ago.

The couple are trying to stay positive

She said the couple had felt 'so blessed'.

'Jack and I are super excited to share with you all that we are expecting our second baby!,' she wrote underneath a picture of her with Jack and Pearl and her positive pregnancy test.

'I am in my second trimester, feeling great & trying not to eat everything in sight. We feel so blessed that our family is growing & Pearl will have a little brother or sister to play with. It’s crazy to think that we will soon be a family of four!'
