The wife of Jack Osbourne said that she still struggles ‘daily’ to come to terms with the miscarriage that cost her son Theo before he had even had a chance to live.
Posting a picture to her Instagram account, Lisa revealed her story in order to mark National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day.
She wrote: ‘I don’t talk about what happened to us much, and I’ve never posted this photo before out of fear that someone would say something mean or negative. I don’t care anymore.
‘I would have an almost 2-year-old son now, named Theo.
‘I never got to meet him, and this is all I have to remember him by…his tiny little footprints.
‘It still hurts every day, and I will always love & miss him.’
The star also made a point of saying that Theo was ‘a real baby,’ telling other mothers who have suffered the same loss that ‘I love you all.’
Jack and Lisa were blessed with a little girl three years ago, Pearl Clementine, and since the miscarriage have gone onto have another child, Andy Rose.
But as many parents who have lost children can understand, nothing takes away from the loss off their little one - not even new life.
The couple lost their baby in the second trimester, when Lisa was about six or seven months into her pregnancy.
