Fans of former glamour model Jodie Marsh thought their idol was telling something for a moment yesterday, as she posted a picture of herself standing alongside a tiny newborn babygrow.

But reading a little closer and looking at her previous posts, Jodie explains that the baby clothes were down to her mother…

That’s right, the 37-year-old revealed that the baby grow was in fact from her own childhood, as her mum had found and brought it over for her. Still totally cute!

Things mums keep, ey?

The original post read:

“My mum found my actual babygro the other day and gave it to me along with a picture of me wearing it!!!! Haha. Amazing. Can't believe I was that small???!!!!!!”

The second snap she uploaded, which had Jodie’s fans all excited, showed her holding up a red outfit that showed just how tiny she once was.

She wrote:

“This gives you a better idea of how small it is. So funny!!! Love that my mum kept this all this time.#family #love”

Although Jodie, who married James Placido in a secret ceremony in Barbados in August last year, put the pics down to her mum bringing the baby stuff around, fans were still quick to think the star was making an announcement.

One Twitter fan wrote “thought you were gna say you are expecting that would of been great news”

And an Instagram follower: “Thought this was some news then... but aww so cute! Tiny!”

Although Jodie has remained firm that she hasn’t got plans to start a family soon, recently writing on Facebook:

“Just because I got married doesn't mean I'm immediately trying for a baby. I have a LOT of living to do first with my wonderful husband.

“Just because certain people deem it "the norm" to start trying for a baby the second they are married, doesn't mean it IS normal to me or others. What's normal to me is to spend every spare minute with my amazing husband and to enjoy life. When we're ready we will address our options and not before then.”

Celebrating the day with her own mum, Jodie made a touching post on Mother’s Day to all those out there who aren’t able to share the same luxury on that day, also sending a thought out to mums who aren’t with their children, or hopeful people wishing to become parents.

She tweeted:

“I'm also thinking today of all those women who couldn't or don't have a child for whatever reason and hoping today isn't too painful

“Mother's Day is lovely if you have a mum or child but it's just another reminder of what you don't have if you don't. Thoughts with you all.”

With a similar, longer post on Facebook showing a similar sentiment too.

Although clearly Jodie seems in touch with her maternal side at the moment, she’s made it clear she’s not giving into pressure and starting a family just yet. Go Jodie!
