A week after his older sister Kim Kardashian publicly declared her love for him by wishing him a happy 28th birthday, Rob Kardashian lashed out by calling her a “bitch” on Twitter.

Insiders tell Closer that rivalry between them has escalated after Rob signed a deal to write an explosive tell-all book about the family. Rumours first swirled last summer that Rob would pen his autobiography, and now sources say he’s determined to reveal his sister’s secrets.

In an apparent attempt to make peace, Kim Tweeted an old picture of the pair joking together in Vegas, with the caption: “I remember this Vegas party of yours like it was yesterday. I love you so much!!!!”

But Rob responded by comparing Kim to the psychotic killer from Gone Girl, writing: “This is my sister Kim, the bitch from Gone Girl.”

A source says: “Rob was left livid by Kim’s birthday Tweet. He felt it was fake – they’ve barely spoken in recent months. He feels that Kim doesn’t make any room for him in her life and has let fame go to her head.

“Rob was approached to do a tell-all book and he’s recently signed a deal. He plans to claim that Kim sometimes uses her daughter North to promote Kanye West’s tour, and that her marriage to Kanye is partly based on money and publicity.

“He wants to show how fame’s changed and tainted the family over the years. They were a traditional church-going family who were very close and put each other’s welfare first, but now he says they often row and everyone’s falling apart in their own way."
