Imogen Thomas announced the tragic news via Instagram, uploading a collage of family pictures of her dad, Charles, along with an emotional message.
It read: "Yesterday we lost our precious dad.
“Dad I will never forget you... I have so many memories that will stay with me forever.”
The mum-of-two added that she will never let her daughters, 2-year-old Ariana and newborn baby Siera, forget their granddad.
She said: “I will never let Ariana forget you and I will be telling Siera all about you! I miss you already my heartache will never go away.
“Love you and always will...
“Until we meet again RIP daddy."
Just a few days before her sad announcement, Imogen shared a black-and-white photograph of Charles cradling baby Siera.
She wrote: "My darling dad met Siera for the first time yesterday.
“I will never forget this day.”
The 33-year-old added emotionally: “I love you so much dad, never forget it."
Imogen has bravely spoken about her dad’s battle with cancer over the past year, telling new! magazine: “It's the most heartbreaking thing ever. We've known for a year now and it's been a roller coaster year for me.
"We thought he was all okay because he was having hormone replacement therapy and we thought it was working.
"It isn't looking good but we need to remain as positive as possible, especially for Ariana.
“It's a difficult time."
