Tony Hadley was crowned the King of the Jungle in this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity.

But it seems as if he may be returning to our telly-boxes before too long, as he's been rumoured to be replacing Nick Grimshaw on The X Factor.

And, now that an industry insider has revealed that Tony is ALREADY working with Simon Cowell, we imagine tongues are going to start wagging even harder.

They said: "He is in fact the vice president of the Shooting Star Chase charity alongside Simon, who are in aid of The X Factor winners' single this year.

"If he was offered the chance to be part X Factor, I am sure he would want to think about it after Christmas as he is a big fan of the show and he’s busy on tour promoting his new Christmas album," the source added.

"But since leaving the jungle Tony has received lots of exciting offers and has asked to think about them as he is currently on tour promoting his new Christmas album and UK tour for 2016."

Ladbrokes have the 80s singer at just 10/1 to replace Nick Grimshaw after just one year as a judge on the panel.

And former Take That singer Robbie Williams is a close second with 12/1 odds to take the Radio 1 DJ’s spot on the ITV series.

But is Nick actually leaving?

Well, there’s no point denying that he’s had a difficult time of it on the musical talent show - and fans haven’t exactly warmed to him.

Plus there’s the fact that he had a MAJORLY awkward clash with contestant Anton Stephans, who dismissed Nick as nothing more than “just a radio DJ with famous friends.”

Eep.

However, despite the fact that Ladbrokes have already lined up plenty of famous faces to replace him, Nick Grimshaw has insisted that he’s doing just fine on the show.

Addressing the issue head-on, he said that he always expected to be hated by viewers because “Louis Walsh is so loved”.

Who would you prefer to see in Nick Grimshaw's seat on The X Factor next year?
