Carlos Lopez plunged to his death from a fourth floor window when he tried to jump onto a veranda opposite.

Stuntman Lopez was staying in a hostel in Lisbon, when he decided to jump from his window over to a balcony. Sadly, the jump went wrong, and Carlos fell to the ground below.

A neighbour who woke up to the noise said she had ’never seen as much blood.’

Carlos had been practicing parkour, where an individual tries to get from A to B in the most efficient way possible.

He was apparently staying at the hostel with his girlfriend, who is said to have witnessed the fall.

Lopez had over 23 film credits for his stuntwork, including the third instalment of the Hunger Games which stars Jennifer Lawrence.

Our condolences go out to this talented young man’s family and friends.
