Home And Away star Ada Nicodemou has heartbreakingly revealed that baby Harrison was delivered stillborn on Thursday 7th August 2014

Ada Nicodemou, 37, along with her family, released a statement via Channel Seven, revealing that she had tragically lost her second child with husband Chrys Xipolitas.

She said: "It is with great sadness that we need to share some news with you."

"Our baby boy Harrison was delivered stillborn on Thursday 7 August 2014.

"We appreciate your love and support as we mourn the loss of our precious son.

"We understand we have lived some of our lives in the public eye.

"But we respectfully ask for privacy at this difficult and extremely painful time so we can grieve and heal."

Ada, who plays Leah Patterson-Baker in the Channel 5 soap, was due to give birth in the coming weeks and she was in the late stages of her pregnancy.

She was thought to be around seven months.

She is already a mother to young son Johnas, who is two years old in August, but Ada was were very open at the time about the difficulties she had to conceive.

She told New Idea in an interview at the time: 'For it to happen so quickly after we struggled for so long last time is a really nice surprise and we feel really really lucky.'

Our thoughts are with her and her family at this sad time.
