Congratulations are in order for Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson and his husband Carl Hyland as they welcome their twin babies!
We're so happy for Kieron Richardson and his hubbie Carl Hyland - their twin babies have just been born!
The couple, who celebrated their second wedding anniversary last month, announced the news on Kieron's Twitter profile.
The Hollyoaks actor announced that the babies, a boy and a girl, had been named Chase and Phoebe Rae, and were born via surrogate on Monday 22 May.
Sharing a snap of the babies' hospital bracelets, we could also see that the little'uns arrived at around 6pm - Chase was born at 18.11 with Phoebe Rae following shortly after at 18.34.
The couple, who announced their baby news last Christmas, have been trying for a long time to be parents.
They had four failed attempts at IVF, but happily the fifth go was a success.
Kieron and Carl have been preparing themselves for parenthood over the last few weeks, with Kieron uploading a photo of himself with a double buggy and also another snap of the baby nursery - and it's very beautiful, may we add!
Despite the fact that neither Kieron nor Carl have any other children, Kieron revealed that he felt pretty ready for children, thanks to his time at Hollyoaks.
Speaking to Digital Spy last year, he said: "I've had the best training ever with little Leah and Lucas, although we won't be calling the twins Leah and Lucas - that would be weird."
