As Holly Willoughby fans and regular Closer Online readers will know, Holly uploads a snap of her This Morning outfit onto her Instagram feed every day.
However yesterday, astute fans noticed there was not one, but two posts.
The reason? Well, as Holly explained in the caption - her first choice outfit was deemed inappropriate for the day-time show.
Alongside a picture of herself in a black polo neck and monochrome, frilled mini skirt which she regrammed from her stylist Angie Smith, Holly wrote: "The one that got away 😢 #TooShortForTM"
Unsurprisingly, the controversial decision by This Morning bosses has sparked much debate.
The comments under Holly's Instagram post are a pretty mixed bag - and while some agree with Holly that the outfit is great, others are siding with TV bosses.
One commenter wrote: "Agree too short, noticed her skirts are getting shorter."
While another simply weighed in with: "Nope not liking this look at all,sorry x"
In contrast, a fan of both Holly and the oufit wrote: "If Holly has it why not flaunt it, she is young and gorgeous ,what is the matter with people .lighten up ,she is not at school ,i think she should wear what she wants ,holly can come and sit next to me anytime xxxx"
While one person questioned the decision, saying: "Why?? Is it really shorter than other skirts you wore? You look great so I do not see why you would not be alllowed to wear it."
The last comment seems particularly pertinent, as the hemline of Holly's replacement skirt (above) seems to be pretty much the same.
And today, in contrast, Holly's hemline was noticeably longer and more conservative...
