Holly Willoughby has revealed all about her “complete nightmare” after giving birth to her third child, son Chester, in 2014.

Speaking to Matt Baker and Alex Jones on The One Show, the presenter explained how she wasn’t expecting any struggles after Chester was born as she was sure she’d seen it all with her previous two babies.

"I really thought, right, this is my third baby, I've got this nailed! I've done this twice before so I know what I'm doing," Holly said.

"I'm just going to take a year off for maternity, and I'll just sit here, feed him and it will be wonderful."

However, things didn’t turn out quite so simple. Holly continued: "But then, he had the worst reflux ever! It was a complete nightmare. He just used to sit there and scream.

"My point is, you can't just have this fixed plan in your head when you become a mum because all babies are different."

Holly’s turn on The One Show comes just before the release of her book Truly Happy Baby.

Speaking to The Guardian previously, Holly spoke of how much she enjoyed giving birth saying: "I'd do childbirth again tomorrow. I loved all my labours.

"With Chester, I remember picking him out of the birthing pool, putting him on me and it was the most euphoric feeling.

"Each time I've done it it's like I've realised why I was put on this planet."
