Do you think you'll be giving this a go tonight?

Holly Willoughby is known for her gorgeous style on This Morning. Every day fans are in awe of her beautiful dresses and cascading blonde locks, but it seems that as well as a stunning fashion sense the presenter has some very unique beauty tricks up her sleeves.

The 36-year-old mum of three has revealed that she takes skincare tips from none other than Liz Earle, the beauty industry’s go-to woman for amazing products that really do revitalise your skin and give you that enviable glow.

Liz Earle is probably best known for the best-selling Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which has taken the world by storm, and Holly has decided to take advice from the skincare advocate – and as a result, is a fan of this very unusual way of taking her evening bath…

While talking to Red magazine, Holly admitted that she is a fan of the ‘milk bath’ which is actually a beauty trick that was popular with the beautiful Egyptian ruler, Cleopatra. Fancy!

She told the publication that it was Liz who inspired her to try out the ancient practice when she had visited This Morning and divulged the secret.

Holly said: “Liz made a milk bath for Mother’s Day - she got that old school dried milk powder like your nan used to bring on holiday to put in your tea - and dried rose petals covered in lots of rose and lavender essential oils, and mixed in with the milk powder.

“Then you just take a scoop and put it in your bath to make a milky bath - it’s so soft!”

While we are used to celebrities going to all sorts of lengths in the name of beauty and skincare – just take a look at some of the things that wellness advocate Gwyneth Paltrow has suggested for her fans – this has to be up there with one of the more unusual.

However, considering that all the products involved are pretty accessible, it means that if you want to try out a milk bath for yourself it’ll be easy enough.

The stunning Holly also admitted that getting a good night’s kip is the key for looking fresh-faced, and explained that she is usually in bed by 9.30pm to make sure she gets as much beauty sleep as possible.

Early nights and milk baths – we can definitely give them both a go.
