Holly Willoughby looks set to co-host I'm A Celebrity with Declan Donnelly.

But despite being offered the amazing opportunity that seems impossible to turn down, the presenter wanted to get her pal's blessing first.

A source told The Mirror, “Because of her genuine friendship with Dec they are very natural together.

“Ant is pleased that it will be a friend like Holly stepping into his shoes even though he knows that not being there himself will be hard. Having Ant’s blessing meant an awful lot to Holly."

Holly, who is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin, also had to ensure she was able to bring her three children, Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, three, to Australia with her before she agreed to join the show.

It is thought that Dan will join Holly for part of the time due to his own work commitments.

“Being on the other side of the world to her children was a sticking point," the source added.

“Once she’d ensured that they could join her on the adventure, she was thrilled.

“Everyone is delighted with the outcome.”

Ant, 42, is taking a year off work after being convicted of drink driving earlier this year.

While ITV have said they will announce the presenter "in due course," it is believed that This Morning producers have been asked to look into presenter's to cover Holly while she's away.

A source from This Morning also seemed to confirm the news to the paper, saying, "Holly is 100% confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant's stand-in.

"It's been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in.

"They've taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments."

We sure hope it's true!
