Holly Willoughby has become one of Britain’s much loved television personalities, and daytime TV just wouldn’t be the same without her on This Morning.

Watched by thousands every morning, Holly recently admitted she struggled in her career when she first started out.

She told The Guardian: “In the beginning I was terrible, although I enjoyed doing it, which was kind of more upsetting.”

She explained that she used to speak in a “posh telephone voice” and was “unnatural” – as she was trying to remember lines rather than comfortably speaking whilst being filmed.

But the 35 year old said that her early difficulties are not a sign of a lack of intelligence, she was just simply inexperienced.

She continued: “I can’t stand the assumption that I’m blonde and a bit stupid.”

The pretty blonde admitted that sexism doesn’t sit well with her, but “being known as 'Holly Willoughbooby' now is just a bit of silliness,” she explained, referring to Celebrity Juice.

Holly went on to explain that she’s “definitely the person you see” when she’s presenting, as she admits it would be difficult to keep up a persona for such long hours of live TV.

However the This Morning presenter admits that she’s now focused on her children and family life and even revealed that she’d “do childbirth again tomorrow”.

Holly recently opened up about childbirth, saying that she loves being pregnant and having children.

To share her own advice and tips on parenting, Holly released her own book Truly Happy Baby: It Worked For Me.

“By the time I had my third child I felt like I had a really good spectrum of different children and different experiences and it felt like it was time to write it all down,” she told The Sun.

We’re so glad Holly pursued her career, TV wouldn’t be the same without her!
