Holly: “I had to apologise to my family for having sex on TV!”
The cast of Geordie shore have shocked and stunned us with their wild drinking, bed hopping and fiery bust ups. But Holly Hagan, 19, reveals to Closer Online that in the third series of reality show, which hits MTV screens this week, viewers will get to witness the most jaw dropping moments yet as the party loving cast descend onto Cancun Mexico for spring break.
She laughs: “People think they’ve seen some shocking moments already but the best is yet to come. This series is the wildest one yet and you're going to see way more sex, way more drinking and way more throwing up!”
"I brought back some random guy I didn’t know and shagged him. That was a bad episode for my poor granddad to watch!"
And after fellow cast members Vicky Pattison, 24, and Ricci Guarnaccio, 25, announced their Cancun engagement exclusively to Closer last month, Holly adds that viewers will also be left shocked by how things unfold between on-off couple Charlotte Letitia Crosby, 21, and Gaz Beadle, 23.
She says: “I can’t give too much away but a lot happens between these two. Everyone knows Charlotte loves Gaz but trust me, he feels the exact same way about her. But whether they’ll ever be together remains to be seen.”
Although she insists that she’s the ultimate party girl, Holly reveals that she’s been left mortified by some of her antics on the show.
She says: “In series two I brought back some random guy I didn’t know and shagged him. That was a bad episode for my poor granddad to watch! In the last series, I was also seen begging James for sex before falling out of my bed three times. I had no recollection of that happening because I was so drunk. You have to laugh though, even when it’s so cringe worthy!”
And whilst she’s made a name for herself on the show as a serial maneater, Holly admits she hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons last November when her fling with X factor star Frankie Coccoza, 19, was revealed on live television. After being questioned by Xtra Factor presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs on pictures of him kissing Holly, Frankie admitted: “I met her. I banged her.”
She says: “I got burnt last year when everything with Frankie was splashed across the papers. It wasn’t the nicest way for him to speak about it and it did embarrass me. But I know that he didn’t mean to hurt me and he was just being a typical lad. He apologised straight away to me and I don’t hold a grudge.”
Jay Gardner proudly boasted about his pulling power with the ladies of Newcastle on past series of the show, but the former lothario reveals to Closer that his single days are behind him now he’s settled with new girlfriend.
“I’ve known my girlfriend for a while now but we became exclusive in December and have just moved in together. I’m very loved up and happy and pleased to see I was faithful to her in Cancun!”
And after Vicky, who he enjoyed a brief fling with in the first series, announced her engagement to Ricci, Jay admits he couldn’t have been more relieved that it wasn’t him down on one knee.
“Imagine Cheryl Cole downing shots with the girls, throwing up and pissing herself. What a scene!”
He says: “Ricky asked my permission to crack on with Vicky last series and I couldn’t have cared less. Me and Vicky weren’t a big deal and after watching her fight continually with Ricky, I’m thanking my lucky stars we ended things when we did!”
And after fellow Geordie Cheryl Cole admitted she was “addicted” to the reality show, Gaz says he would love to see the singer make a cameo.
He laughs: “Imagine Cheryl downing shots with the girls, throwing up and pissing herself. What a scene!”
