It’s been 21 years since the release of Halloween classic Hocus Pocus, so there’s plenty of ground to cover for what’s set to be one of the most anticipated sequels in recent years.

Now original Sanderson sisters Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy say they’re ready to don their capes and broomsticks (and hoovers and mops) for the second instalment.

The news broke during a recent Reddit AMA, where Bette Midler told fans that she would happily star in the next movie.

She wrote: “Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if yo want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company (sic).”

She didn’t, however, confirm whether or not Thackery Binx would make it back to Salem for the next chapter (he turned back into a human and was reunited with his sister, Emily, remember?).

Now we just need those kindly folks at Disney to get a virgin to light the black flame candle and bring those evil Sanderson sisters back fro another adventure!
