The 27-year-old, who was made famous after it was alleged she took part in a threesome with footballer Wayne Rooney in 2010, said there’s nothing wrong with people charging for sex or paying for it.
COLEEN ROONEY REPORT: WILL SHE EVER ESCAPE HELEN WOOD AND WAYNE'S PAST?
Writing for the Daily Star, Helen said: “I find that stigma is usually attached to small-minded people leading miserable lives, and most likely have had a bad experience catching hubby up to no good spending cash from the joint account.”
Although Helen is adamant she doesn’t regret anything that happened while working as an escort, she doesn’t like that it still gets brought up.
“Not because I regret it, but because others label me with an identity no longer even part of my lie. People move on, change, evolve,” she said.
HELEN WOOD DESPERATE TO JOIN LOOSE WOMEN PANEL: "I'D BE GREAT"
And Big Brother winner Helen confessed she enjoyed her old job. She said: “I wasn’t depressed, crying in a room or feeling back about myself. I was actually being independent.
“It’s also not what most of you might think it is, old fat greying greasy guys aren’t just the men out there that are craving female attention.
“Try your guys whose wives have died in a car accident and can no longer find the confidence to go out even seven years on, all he wants is a meal and a chat, or to sob in someone’s arms, men don’t like showing emotion in front of their mates as it’s not the masculine thing to do.”
While Helen would never encourage a daughter of hers to go into prostitution, she thinks there’s much worse that could happen.
She said: “If I had a daughter, would I encourage her to write prostitution as her desired career for when she’s older? No, obviously I would not. But there is far worse going on in the world.”
