Helen Flanagan has taken to motherhood like a duck to water, hasn’t she?

The 24-year-old has been keeping her fans updated on little Matilda Jessica’s progress since she gave birth a few weeks ago, sharing a flurry of adorable photos on Instagram.

But one, in particular, left hearts melting.

Sharing a photograph of herself cuddled up with her sleepy baby girl, Helen decided to pen a sweet message to her daughter.

She wrote simply: ”I hope that one day you will see me as your best friend.

“My beautiful daughter, you make me so happy."

N’aww!

Earlier today, Helen joined her mum and sister for an extra-special treat; they all took baby Matilda on a trip to the Sea Life Centre.

But, while they may have been searching for Nemo, it seems as if Matilda wasn’t the one who found him.

The little poppet slept through the whole thing!

She wrote: “Lovely day at Sea Life today with my beautiful baby, lovely mum and gorgeous sister.

“Matilda slept all the way through!”

After their tiring day out, he cute mum-and-daughter duo snuggled up on the couch to watch a Disney film together.

“Watching Tangled,” said Helen, who also revealed that she’s been busy watching Beauty & The Beast and The Lion King with her mini me.

Looking at this, we have a feeling that the former Coronation Street star doesn’t need to worry at all.

These two will DEFINITELY be best friends when Matilda grows up!
