Paramore front woman Hayley Williams has revealed her engagement to long-term boyfriend , musician Chad Gilbert,
The New Found Glory star proposed to the 26-year-old on Christmas Day after six years of dating.
Hayley shared a photo of her and new fiancé Chad, their faces Photoshopped on to a bride and groom with a graphic reading: “Getting Married”.
Chad, 33, also wrote on Twitter: “Popped the question on Christmas Day! #MicDrop.”
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were amongst the couples’ famous friends to congratulate the lovebirds on their happy news.
Chad recently admitted that he and Hayley went through a ‘rough patch’ in their relationship, but despite busy work schedules and constant touring the twosome managed to move past their problems and plan their future together.
Hayley said recently in an interview with Spin magazine: “We always, always tour. But honestly it's great. We both love what we do and we both support each other and love that we're doing the thing that we enjoy.”
