The Beckham’s have always been one of our favourite celebrity families, from the cute videos of Cruz singing, to David and Brooklyn’s hilarious father-son bonding sessions.

And there was no lack of love – or presents! – for David Beckham today as he celebrated his 41st birthday.

His wife Victoria and son Brooklyn both took to social media to wish him a happy birthday.

Fashion designer and original WAG, Victoria, posted a cute snap of David posing in front of a huge stack of presents wrapped in world map-themed wrapping paper.

The mother of four wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the most amazing husband and wonderful daddy X We all love you so much!! @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham #soulmate #familyday #blessed XVB’

Brooklyn also took to Instagram to share his well wishes, posting a similar gift-filled picture with a black and white filter. He left a message for his dad, playfully calling him ‘Mr Guns’, and in a separate post referred to him as his ‘hero’.

Among the presents was one that couldn’t be wrapped – an expensive Big Green Egg barbeque. Victoria is also reported to have given David a personalised motorbike helmet to ring in his birthday.

David hasn’t always been so interested in social media, and he famously celebrated his 40th birthday last year by signing up to Instagram. Since then, he has given his photographer son Brooklyn a run for his money with a wealth of intimate photos that give us a lovely insight into the Beckham’s lives.

He recently used the picture app to document Brooklyn’s first driving lesson, and left fans in fits of laughter as he revealed all about the scary experience.

Although his dad is happy to watch him grow into an adult, Victoria is apparently less happy about seeing her son starting to date.
