Director Guy, 46, recently gave David, 40, a small cameo in the movie Man From U.N.C.L.E – but he's teased that he'll have a much more prominent role in his new film.

Speaking to The Sun, recently married Guy said: "David really is one of the best men you could wish to meet and fantastic to have around on a film set.

"He looks pretty good on a big screen and yes you'll be seeing more of him in my next film."

Earlier this year sources revealed more about retired footballer David's role in Guy's latest project King Arthur: Knights of the Roundtable.

An insider told The Express: "The film tells a King Arthur origin story. There's going to be a version of the scene where Excalibur gets drawn from the stone. This is where Beckham factors in."

Speaking of David's small role in Man From U.N.C.L.E, Guy joked that he deliberately hid the hunk behind a projector and glasses.

He continued: "When I was looking for someone for a cameo, how could I resist putting one of the most handsome and photographed men in the world into a pair of specs and hide him behind a large projector?"

David is no stranger to rubbing shoulders with Hollywood's elite, and attended Guy's wedding at the weekend with Superman star Henry Cavill.

Sharing a photo of the three of them on the big day, Becks joked: "Myself and Superman aka Henry feeling like we are being told off by our dad.

"And if you look closely I believe Superman looks a little more scared than the underwear model [sic]."
