Bake Off champ Nadiya Hussain has had quite the year. From releasing her own book, baking a birthday cake for Her Majesty and securing a spot on the Loose Women panel - she definitely deserves a long holiday.
And now she’s set to become even busier, because she’s heading back to the big white baking tent to help judge Junior Bake Off, that is aired on CBBC.
She is said to be “delighted” to join the series alongside international chef and food writer Allegra McEvedy, teaming up to judge 40 young bakers on their journey to be the very best.
Hussain said: "I'm delighted to be joining Junior Bake Off as a judge. This time last year I was in the Bake Off tent and now I get to go back and help encourage the next generation to get their bake on.
"I am so excited to have this opportunity."
Susanne Rock, executive producer for Love Productions, added: "As the winner of last year's Great British Bake Off, Nadiya proved herself to be one of the most talented, committed and hard-working bakers the tent has ever seen."
We think she’s the perfect choice, don’t you?
The last series of Bake Off became the most-watched TV programme of last year, with an average audience of 15.1 million viewers.
