The 46 year-old posted photos of his six-pack on Twitter revealing the results of his triathlon training in Hawaii.
The TV chef posted the first photo of himself wearing swimming trunks, with the caption: 'Final swim before the big day. 3 days until IRONMAN! #IMKona'
Just hours later, Gordon posed for another picture while at the beach, writing: 'Wish you were here'.
The father-of-four has previously said his passion for fitness started when he hit 40, beginning with triathlons and progressing the distance to a half Ironman which was a ‘lifelong ambition.’
The chef finished his first triathlon in September, completing the 70 mile of swimming, cycling and running event in an impressive 6 hours, 38 minutes and 36 seconds.
Although he has never been overweight, Gordon’s recent fitness goals have seen him shed the pounds and build muscle, helped by his new diet.
The foodie recently revealed his ‘pre-race’ diet to a triathlon magazine, which he said consists of ‘a lot of fish, a lot of iron, a lot of spinach—not literally a week before but like a month out,’
‘I'm eating more, obviously 'cause of the intense training, so I'm enjoying food a lot more,’ he added.
But as a food lover, the famous head chef confessed he will indulge in a celebratory meal consisting of a 16-18 oz. T-bone steak and a glass of wine—or the entire bottle.
‘Sod having a glass of wine, I'll probably end up finishing the bottle. Trust me,’ he said.
