British actress Rosamund Pike and her partner Robie Uniake, 54, welcomed another son on December 2nd.

The 35-year-old, who is already a parent to two-year-old son Solo, decided to have a home-birth with her second child.

Rosamund’s representative confirmed in June that the actress was planning to expand her family.

And in September the Brit born star told Glamour of what it was like to become a mother.

She said: “With children you spend so much time re-experiencing the world as a child experiences it, and that has a nourishing effect on your imagination – in my job, imagination is key.”

Rosamund started dating Eton educated Robie three years before they announced her first pregnancy.

The businessman, a former heroin addict, was first married to Emma Howard, 59, with whom he has a son, also called Robie.

He then had three children with his second wife, Rose Batstone, before having his sons with Rosamund.

Rosamund is due to be honored at the 2015 Palm Springs Film Festival with the Breakthrough Performance Award.
