It’s official; Eve Woerdenweber is engaged.

Taking to Twitter, the Gogglebox star shared a photo of herself snuggled up with her beau Josh.

And, in another picture, she showed off her Kate Middleton-esque engagement ring.

Eve gushed: “I was proposed to in Venice and I said yes to my lovely fiancé.

“I love you sweetheart.”

She later added another photo of herself posing alongside the ring, writing: “Filming #gogglebox and trying not to stare at my beautiful ring from my beautiful fiancé & soul mate.”

The shock announcement comes after the reality star split from her ex boyfriend and co-star, Jay Malkin, in April this year.

And fans were left bereft when ‘Silent Jay’ disappeared from the Woerdenweber’s sofa on Gogglebox.

"It’s with great regret that Silent Jay is no longer in this series of Gogglebox. He has been an excellent contributor to ‘Gogglebox’, and we are very grateful for all he has given to the show," a Channel 4 spokesman said at the time.

However some fans have been unable to handle the split, tweeting that Eve looks far more miserable with her new fiancé than she ever did with Jay.

Firing back at her trolls, Eve shared a photo of herself having fun with Josh.

She wrote: “So according to some I look miserable these days...

“Yep, so miserable... #getyourfactsright #happyaslarry”

It definitely looks it - congratulations to the happy couple!
