It’s official; Gogglebox’s George Gilbey is a dad!
The reality star - who appears on the hit TV show alongside his mum and stepdad - announced the happy news via Twitter.
He wrote: "7lb 2oz little girl. Born 17.16 Amelie Iris Gilbey”
He added: “Big thanks to everyone (especially nannies) for your support #perfect.”
Isn’t that a beautiful name?
The name ‘Amelie’ is a French one, which means ‘hard working’.
Meanwhile ‘Iris’, a traditional flower name, meaning ‘rainbow’ - how beautiful!
George’s 105,000 followers were, of course, made up for him and his girlfriend Gemma.
One user wrote: “Congratulations lovely, parenthood is the best job in the world!
“Enjoy every second they go so quick xx.”
Others simply contented themselves with a simple message of congratulations.
An excited George previously told heat! magazine that the new addition is 'going to totally change my life and I can't wait.'
