First things first, we’d just like to reassure you that it isn’t Steph and Dom (aka the posh couple) who’ve called time on their relationship.
We doubt we’d have ever recovered from that one.
However we are still very sad to hear that “Silent” Jay Makin and Eve Woerdenweber have broken up.
You’ll doubtless remember the pair from the show; Jay is the one who sits watching the telly without ever speaking a single word - and Eve is his bubbly blonde girlfriend.
Well, she was, anyway.
Awkwardly for the couple, however, producers have decided that they have to keep filming the show together until May. For continuity, apparently - although we imagine it’ll also make quite good TV viewing.
Yup, The Sun have reported that Jay has moved out of Eve’s family home in the Wirral – but producers have decided it’s best he keeps filming the show with the Woerdenwebers until May, for continuity.
Jay apparently found his voice and told the newspaper: “I’m gutted that Eve broke up with me. It came completely out of the blue.
“We had a few problems and started drifting apart but I thought it was down to the pressure of the show and her business. We argued too much and she said couldn’t cope with it.
“She called after a big argument and said she didn’t want to go out with me any more.
“Eve said she still wants to be friends but hasn’t spoken to me and has deleted me on Facebook. It really hurts, we were so close.”
Oh dear; maybe the pair can work things out?
